To keep the IMC accessible to as many delegates as possible, we endeavour to keep charges affordable, and offer a limited number of bursaries. Anyone can apply for an IMC Bursary, but we particularly encourage applications from students, unwaged or low-waged scholars, pensioners, and delegates from outside Western Europe.

The deadline for IMC Bursary applications is 15 October 2023. All applications should be submitted by 23.59 (BST) on this date.

Bursaries usually range in value from £50 to £200 and may cover all or part of the Registration and Programming Fee, accommodation, and meals. Please note that no travel grants are available. Applicants are strongly advised to seek other sources of support as they are more likely to receive a partial than a full bursary.

Student/retired/unwaged applicants need to submit proof of their status. Evidence can be submitted by email via imc@leeds.ac.uk.

All applicants will be notified of the Bursary Committee's decision by the end of November.
