Abstract | Penal forms are part of many medieval charters. A great variety of them exists and the Nulli... Si Quis formulae in the corroborations of papal litterae cum serico are only the most prominent ones. The session seeks to analyse the development of sanctions, corroborations and penal forms all through the Middle Ages taking examples from various periods relevant for the formation of charter formulae. |
