AbstractEstablished in 1988, the Corpus of Romanesque Sculpture in Britain and Ireland (CRSBI) is an online database providing images and descriptions of Romanesque sculpture in Britain and Ireland. The database is increasingly being used for both research and teaching. Fieldwork is ongoing and this session shows the ways in which such fieldwork can immediately yield new insights as well as the ways in which research projects can draw upon the database.
