AbstractThese three sessions explore the early medieval riddle tradition across a variety of languages, including Old English, Latin, and Arabic. Papers address early medieval riddles and riddling through a variety of perspectives and methodologies, including gender, thing theory, philosophy, material culture, comparative literature, and translation.
